We seek to protect people and communities in which our facilities are located, and to comply with all applicable laws. To achieve this, we monitor worldwide injury rates, safety and environmental performance and compliance at each of our facilities. In addition, we regularly review our on-going support of the Atkore Family Foundation and the engagement and alignment of our workforce.
Atkore’s Global Incidence Reporting process ensures that all environmental, occupational health and safety (EHS) incident events are reported on a timely basis to comply with external notification requirements. These reports are then reviewed with appropriate personnel to prevent future occurrences.
Adherence to Atkore’s Safety and Environment Management System (SEMS) internal standard ensures EHS programs and procedures meet compliance requirements and help prevent future EHS events. Additionally SEMS enables reporting and evaluation of first aid injuries, near miss incidents and other low severity EHS events.
Donations and grants from the Atkore Family Foundation provide one-time or short-duration financial relief to active employees, employees of customers and suppliers of Atkore International Group, Inc. and 501(c)(3) organizations serving the communities in which Atkore operates.
